Busy Busy Month!

Hi! We have been so busy this month. We recently moved into a new apartment in South Jordan that I absolutely love! Harlee's room is really big and actually seems to hold all of her toys. We have a great view of the wet land preserve, which is really just a big brown spot right now, but Harlee really enjoys watching all the birds out the windows. Harlee is so excited for Christmas. She wants to open all of the presents, now. I have lots of pictures to post but just haven't gotten around to it. So much has happened this month and it's only half way over. I can't wait for what the rest of December will bring!

Tinkerbell

This is Harlee's other Halloween costume. I just got this picture from Joel. Harlee loved being Tinkerbell and going trick or treating.

Grandma's House

The Mayan

Here are a few pics from when we went to the Mayan restaurant a couple of weeks ago. Harlee really enjoyed the divers and the fire spinners. The food wasn't the best but it sure was a ton of fun!

Harlee and Matt on Mars!

The Clark Planeterium was so much fun! Harlee and Matt had a blast. The dome movie was cool. It was about two kids who blast into space in a cardboard rocket ship.

Trick or Treat Street

I took Harlee to trick or treat street today at South Towne Expo Center. It was a lot of fun. They had fake houses set up with lots of doors for you to trick or treat at. Harlee dressed up as witch and carried her broom the whole time. Grandma Kathy and Michele came with Hayden and Ryan. Hayden was Iron Man and Ryan was something from Star Wars. We all had a great time.

Wheeler Farm

Matt trying to sneak up on the ducks.

After I picked Harlee up from daycare today we went to lunch with friends. Then we went to wheeler farm. It was a lot of fun. I bought food for Harlee and Matt to feed the ducks. The ducks went a little crazy though and started swarming us. The pigeons that were there kept jumping up on the bench we were standing on. They even started jumping up onto us. It freaked Harlee out a little. She really liked the chickens and the sheep.

Having a daughter is such a wonderful gift. It's hard being a single parent but well worth it. I wish I got to spend more time with her. I have to work a lot but I really value the time alone we get to spend together. Harlee is a beautiful three year old. She is so full of life and love. The days I work and the days she spends with her dad are really hard. I miss her every moment she is gone. I know she misses me too.

Harlee loves to play dress-up. She found some old dance costumes of Mandi's and had to wear them. She even wore this dress when we went to see a house.

Hanging out at Mandi Moos

Today after I got off work, we went to visit grandma and grandpa in windy Wyoming. Harlee was so excited to see her pa and Mandi Moo. We have no idea why but Harlee insists on calling Mandi, Mandi Moooooo. It's pretty funny. Harlee loves the trampoline. Grandma even showed off by doing backflips. Very impressive! Harlee played dressed with Halloween masks. She ran around saying boo and scaring everyone.

Harlee's Day

Today I had to work so Harlee played at home. They had some fun with the camera and took several pictures of eachother. I got off work early so we went and rented some movies from redbox. Harlee is in love with Dora so she picked Dora the Snow Princess. I'm sure it will a delightful movie.

October 16

Today Harlee and I decided to be "crafty". After eating a wonderful lunch at the local McD's with friends, Harlee, myself and megan went to some place where they cut out wood blocks and letters. It would have been fun except that it's almost Halloween so all the Hs and all the Ls were all ready taken. We had a hard time spelling out Harlee and had to settle for smaller letters. I hope it still turns out cute. Harlee was tired and grumpy so we still need to paint them. We plan on spending the rest of the day at home doing just about nothing!
